Original, one-of-a-kind production cel used in the making of the Sailor Moon R anime series and R movie which were released from 1993 to 1994 in Japan.
 
This is a very rare Bank cel of Sailor Moon doing an attack "Moon Princess Halation" with her Cutie Moon Rod. This is a very well-known image and features gorgeous airbrush special effects. Bank cels are used multiple times during the anime in different episodes. Comes with non-matching production background which is stuck to cel. The background is probably from one of the SMR episodes. Also includes a COA from our gallery.
 
Cel is in very good condition with some moderate trace line fade as expected in Toei cels of this vintage. There is some extra yellow paint on her hair and also a piece of tape at top of the cel. The overall size is 9.25 inches by 10.5 inches. The third image is the screenshot of the attack scene from the SMR film. The fourth image is from TV Magazine Deluxe #38 Sailor Moon R art book, page 20 published by Kodansha. This beautiful anime cel comes in the original bag with Toei Animation seal sticker on the back as shown in the fifth and sixth images.
