Up for sale is an original, one-of-a-kind production cel used for the making of Toei Animation ultra-popular Dragon Ball anime, based on the Weekly Shōnen Jump manga by Akira Toriyama. Dragon Ball Z aired in Japan on Fuji TV from 1989 to 1996 and has since been broadcast in at least 81 countries worldwide.
 
Possibly the best image of Bun from Episode 40, "Held Captive" with the classic Toriyama look. Bun removes the bandage covering the wound he received from Frieza's henchman Cui. This A1/B1 cel is in great condition with minor trace line fade found in Toei Anime cels of this vintage. It comes with one unstuck douga and the other is stuck to the back of the cel as shown. Douga has his name in katakana. This anime cel comes shipped in a fresh archival polypropylene bag. The overall art size is 9.75 inches by 10.5 inches.
